Our approach is "Create new healthy habits, not restrictions.” We design nutrition plans that coordinate with each individual’s vision of a healthy lifestyle through targeting food consumption and behaviors associated with food choices.
Leah Figuccio MS RDN LDN
Hi! I’m Leah, a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist based in Philadelphia.
I am the founder of Leah Figuccio Nutrition. I have been practicing in the state of Pennsylvania since 2015. My experience working with a vast variety of disease states such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic kidney disease and obesity, has further increased my passion to help others improve their quality of life.
My health coaching style is best described as Motivational Interviewing. This means enhancing self motivation during each counseling session through encouraging each client to find his/her own goals and achieve them. Listening is a key approach during my sessions. I want to best understand your experience and feelings. I believe both the coach and the client are experts in the counseling relationship. During my sessions I hope to build a fun collaborative nature to help you find motivation and balance in meeting your health goals.
My focus is on wellness, sports nutrition, pregnancy (including pre/postpartum nutrition), diabetes, heart disease, weight management and gastrointestinal distress.
As an RD I’ve received extensive training that combines academic preparation with hands-on, practical patient experience set forth by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. I received my undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University in Nutrition. My post graduate work was completed at Immaculata University where I obtained a Masters in Nutrition Education. I am qualified to provide Medical Nutrition therapy in PA & Florida. I’m currently an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Gabrielle Zimmerman MS RD/LDN
Hi, I’m Gabrielle! I’m a published author and Registered Dietitian with a Master’s in Nutrition & Dietetic Practice from Thomas Jefferson University and a Bachelor’s in Nutrition & Dietetics from New York University.
My passion for nutrition began 17 years ago when I was diagnosed with celiac disease, followed by multiple food allergies. Living with these conditions taught me how deeply food impacts our health, energy, and everyday life—and it’s what drives me to help others feel more confident in their own nutrition journey.
With over 1,200 hours of supervised practice across clinical, community, and public health settings—including unique rotations with NASA, the FDA, and The Broadway Dietitian—as well as an internship with Joy Bauer of NBC’s TODAY Show—I bring a well-rounded approach to care that I tailor to each client.
In 2020, I published When Food Can Kill You: What The World Needs To Know, inspired by my own experiences navigating food allergies and diet-related diseases like celiac disease.
I specialize in GI conditions, thyroid and renal disorders, food sensitivities, hypertension, pregnancy or postpartum, as well as athletes and high performers. Using motivational interviewing, I help clients build habits that last and goals that fit their lifestyles—without restriction or judgment. My approach is practical, personalized, and grounded in both lived experience and evidence-based care.
Angela Green RDN, LDN
Hi my name is Angie, I am an RD with Leah Figuccio Nutrition. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Pennsylvania State University. I completed my Dietetic Internship with Iowa State University. I have been practicing in the state of PA as a RD since 2015. I have experience working with a variety of different clients such as prenatal, pediatrics, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, obesity, weight loss, and hypertension. I have worked in long term care, food service, wellness, and renal settings.
When working with clients I try to empower and encourage them to reach their goals that we set through motivational interviewing. My client and I are a team, and together we come up with ways to reach goals through lifestyle changes. My favorite part about being a Dietitian is seeing my clients succeed and change their health for the better.
Amanda Sales RD/LDN
Hi, I’m Amanda Sales. I earned my Undergraduate degree in dietetics and nutrition from Keiser University. My primary focus is on eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, and emotional eating. I also have a strong interest in autoimmune conditions, reproductive health concerns, pre and postpartum nutrition, and plant based eating. My work is rooted in empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity. I aim to help clients heal their relationship with food, build trust in their bodies, and feel more confident in how they nourish themselves.
As someone from Brazil, I deeply value diverse food traditions and believe that honoring culture is an essential part of the nutrition journey. I believe there is room for all foods and that nutrition care should be both supportive and realistic. When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my family, getting lost in a good book, or cooking up something delicious in the kitchen.
